Who we are
Sortaring is made by [developer name] ([legal name], [country]). Postal address: [postal address]. You can reach us at support@sortaring.com. We are responsible for the information described here.
What this policy covers
The Sortaring game for Android (and for iPhone and iPad once it’s released), and this website, sortaring.com.
Your game stays on your device
Your levels, stars, coins, shop items and settings are saved on your phone or tablet. We don’t receive them, and there’s no account to create. Deleting the app or clearing its data removes them.
Android’s device backup, which you control in your phone’s settings, may include this data in your own Google account backup. Google runs that service; we can’t see it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Sortaring is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob. Because the game is made for children as well as adults, every ad request is set up for a child audience: [confirm: tagged child-directed (COPPA) and under the age of consent (GDPR), max ad content rating G, non-personalized ads only, Families-certified SDKs only]. Ads are not based on what a player does in other apps or websites.
To show ads, count them and stop fraud, Google may process limited technical information such as the device type, operating system, IP address and ad interactions. Google explains this in its privacy policy and in how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Advertising ID: [confirm whether the app accesses the Android advertising ID, and how]. You can delete or reset it at any time in your phone’s settings, under Privacy → Ads (on some phones, Google → Ads).
Purchases (Google Play)
In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see card or bank details. We receive a confirmation — an order number, the item and the time — so the game can deliver what was bought. Google Play’s own parental controls can require approval for every purchase; the parents’ page shows how.
This website
sortaring.com sets no cookies, has no sign-up forms and loads nothing from advertising or social networks. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any host, it briefly processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect against attacks (see Cloudflare’s privacy policy). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying or following anyone.
If you turn on sound in the playable demo, your browser remembers that choice on your own device (in its local storage, under “sortaring:sound”). It’s never sent to us, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
Children’s privacy
Sortaring is made for players of all ages, including children under 13. It has no accounts, no chat, no way to share anything and no way to contact other players, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. The only information that leaves the device is what the ad service and Google Play need to work, as described above.
Parents and guardians can ask us at any time what information we hold about their child (normally none), and ask us to delete it, by writing to support@sortaring.com. We’ll answer within 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU, the UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws — you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how it’s used, and to complain to your data protection authority. As we hold almost nothing, the simplest step is usually to delete the app. For anything else, write to support@sortaring.com.
Where the law asks for a legal basis: we keep your game on your device to provide the game you asked for; ads are shown on the basis of [legal basis for ads — consent via Google’s consent tools, or legitimate interest; needs legal review]; purchase records are kept to meet our legal obligations.
Security, transfers and changes
Google and Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries, under safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
