Terms of use
The rules for playing Sortaring, written to be read.
Effective [effective date]
These terms
These terms are an agreement between you and [legal name] (“we”) for playing Sortaring and using sortaring.com. By playing, you accept them. If you’re a child, please read them with a parent or guardian, who accepts them for you.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle information. Google Play’s terms also apply to downloads and purchases from Google Play.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install Sortaring on devices you own or control and to play it for fun. You may not copy, sell, rent or modify the game, or try to extract its code or art, except where the law allows it.
Playing fair
Please don’t cheat in ways that harm the game, such as hacking it, tampering with its files to get coins or items, or interfering with its ads. If someone does, we may stop supporting their copy of the game.
Coins and items
Coins, stars and shop items exist only inside the game. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money or moved to another person, and live on your device — so they’re lost if you delete the game or its data. We may rebalance prices and rewards in the game from time to time.
Purchases
Sortaring is free to download. Optional in-app purchases are sold through Google Play, at the price shown there before you buy. Google Play handles payments and refunds under its own policies, and you keep every right your local consumer law gives you.
Parents and guardians are responsible for purchases made on their devices. Google Play can require approval for every purchase — the parents’ page shows how.
Ads
The free game shows ads, set up for a child audience as described in the privacy policy. We don’t endorse the products advertised.
Who owns what
Sortaring — its name, logo, art, music, sounds, levels and code — belongs to us or our licensors. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
Our promises and their limits
We work hard to make Sortaring fun and reliable, but we provide it “as is”: we can’t promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and we may update or change it.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for losing progress stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or takes away your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. You can stop at any time by deleting the game.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law], without removing any protection the law of your own country gives you. Questions? Write to support@sortaring.com.
